The problem Stateclan solves
People often need help but do not personally know someone likely to have the answer. Search results may be inadequate, useful people may be scattered across platforms, and relevant groups may be noisy, private or difficult to access.
How it works
- Ask one clear question and explain what help you need.
- Choose the relevant state, city and category when location matters.
- People with useful knowledge or experience can answer in one public thread.
- Requesters can mark helpful answers and resolve the question.
- Useful answers remain available for people with similar questions later.
Why Stateclan uses states
States help route a question to people who are more likely to understand the place. They are not the whole identity of Stateclan: general Nigerian questions can still reach people with relevant experience regardless of state.
Community before commerce
Stateclan does not support sponsored answers, paid placement or advertisements. Repeated promotion is treated as spam so people can ask for help and receive candid answers.
What success means
The goal is not raw posting volume. Stateclan succeeds when a question reaches people who can offer useful help and the answer remains valuable to the person asking now and future readers.
